The city-owned 9-hole Hazlehurst Municipal Golf Course, also known as Twisted Pine Golf Course, is surrounded by venerable pines, dazzling wildflowers, and low rolling hills to provide the perfect backdrop for a day on the links. The public course, open year ‘round, features 3,636 yards of golf from the longest tee for a par of 36.
 

The course remains one of the most well-maintained and respected courses in the area. Guests will find a driving range, rental clubs, and rental carts readily available.

The cost to play the course with its long challenging fairways is affordable and starts at $15 for nine holes. Credit cards are accepted at the golf course(Visa, Mastercard and debit cards-no American Express)

 

The course is open six days a week, closed only on Mondays.
 

Of special note, the course hosts a 9-hole scramble every Thursday evening, weather permitting, beginning at 5:30.

The Hazlehurst Civic Center connects to the golf course’s pro shop and is available for family reunions, receptions, class reunions, and other events. Contact City Hall at (912) 375-6680 for rates and availability.
