Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m., at Hazlehurst City Hall. The public is invited to attend, listen, and learn, and also to participate in the Citizens Comments section at the end of each meeting.  Only executive sessions, usually held at the end of the regular meetings, are closed to the public and the press.

Work sessions are held on the Monday immediately before the regular Thursday meeting and are also at 5:00 p.m., at City Hall. The public is invited to attend these informal meetings as well.

Called meetings will be posted on the City’s Facebook page (please see the link on the main page of this site), and on the door of City Hall at least 24 hours prior to the meetings.

Anyone who wishes to add an item to the agenda or speak to the City Council outside of the Citizens Comments section of the meeting must contact the City Clerk for prior approval.

All meetings are open to the public.
