Public Works, Streets, Parks, and Animal Shelter
The City of Hazlehurst Public Works Department, including Streets, Parks, and the Animal Shelter, maintains almost 45 miles of city streets and sidewalks, four public parks, weekly trash and debris pickup, and the Hazlehurst Animal Shelter. Under the direction of Conrad Swain, the department manages to keep Hazlehurst looking good and in working order. The downtown community is clean and awash with the color of flowering plants and trees, thanks to the efforts of the department’s fine employees who strive to make our fair city as appealing as possible. Our goal is to provide integral services to Hazlehurst and its citizens, and we’re here to help with your needs and the needs of the city.
